My Favorite Utah Date Spots
As a certified Utahn who LOVES exploring Utah, here are my man’s and my favorite date spots! Bonus: my girlfriends and I have been to most of these spots too.
So, no man required for these dates; grab a bestie and let’s go!
Let’s adopt a tree at Bonsai By Me
American Fork + South Salt Lake City
We are starting strong with my top recommendation because it was SO much fun to pot a bonsai tree with my man. You get to pick the pot, the tree, and the accessories, with everything ranging from about $30–$80.
The bonsai tree can last for years with proper care, and the memories you make learning about your tree, potting it, and decorating it last a lifetime!
We adopted our bonsai about four months ago, have been caring for it ever since, and it’s still growing beautifully!
Make Each Other Something at Beadology
Draper + Provo
This one is definitely for the girlfriends, a date with Mom, and yup, even a date with the man.
Beadology is probably the perfect spot to make each other bracelets, whether they’re friendship bracelets, promise bracelets, or something sentimental. The beauty of Beadology is that it’s completely DIY, so you and your date’s creativity can truly come to life.
It’s also not limited to bracelets! You can make keychains, earrings, necklaces, and more.
Beadology is also female-owned, and both of their Utah locations are GORGEOUS!

Crazy Croffles
This unique dessert spot is worth a visit if you’re looking for a sweet way to spend your date. Croffles are croissant waffles, and they are INCREDIBLE! They have both sweet and savory options.
Not to mention, they have incredible drinks: coffee, matcha, refreshers, and more, but their Matchamisu Latte is a showstopper.
SkinnyFATS at HallPass
And straight across from Crazy Croffles: SKINNYFATS!
Located inside HallPass, SkinnyFATS only has a few locations, and we’re lucky enough to have one right here in SLC. Whether you’re craving something on the healthier side or the greasier side, SkinnyFATS is the place to go.
Everything is made fresh, and it’s my best friend’s AND my man’s favorite food spot at The Gateway. So basically, you have to check out both of these foodie spots while you’re there. They’re worth it!
Make Essential Oil Rollers for Each Other at Jade Bloom
Now here’s another unique date idea: make an essential oil roller for each other at Jade Bloom!
For only $10, you can create your own essential oil roller at one of my favorite local spots, Jade Bloom. This is personally one of my favorite activities because I love learning about the different natural ingredients you can add to your blend, and, of course, it’s so fun getting to completely customize your own scent.
Better yet, make one for each other! Ladies, this might be a good way to find out if your man actually knows what scents you love.
Jade Bloom is located in Draper, Utah, and the whole experience makes for such a peaceful, creative little date night.
Grab Ice Cream at Brooker’s Founding Flavors
And finally, for my fellow sweet-tooth couples, I HAD to recommend one of my favorite Utah ice cream spots: Brooker’s Founding Flavors!
I may be a little biased, but the Bluffdale location is my favorite. Brooker’s also has several other locations throughout Utah, so you can find one that works for your date-night plans.
My man and I always have so much fun here sampling flavors and trying something new each time we visit. And I especially love how committed Brooker’s is to its Founding Fathers theme, from the names of the flavors to the entire atmosphere; it makes grabbing ice cream feel like an experience rather than just another dessert stop.
Cute, casual, delicious date night. 10/10 from us.
